Police arrest 19-year-old man in shooting that left two women dead

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder in connection with an Inglewood shooting Tuesday that left two women dead.
Justin Marquis Scott, 19, of Compton was booked on suspicion of murder Wednesday and is being held without bail, police said.
Scott was arrested after being questioned by police in connection with the shooting that left two women dead -- Crystallyn Nguyen, 18, and Dora Lee Dawson, 68 -- and a man critically wounded with two gunshot wounds in the 11700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
Scott had a relationship with Nguyen, who was the girlfriend of the surviving victim, Datwan Henderson, 22, according to police.
Investigators believe the altercation began when Scott approached Henderson at the back of his residence. Scott allegedly produced a gun and chased Henderson into his apartment, where he shot Henderson, Dawson and Nguyen, police said.
A fourth person was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released, Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Tony Akins said.
Scott is due in court Friday, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records.
