At the Republican debate, actual candidate sightings are rare

When one of the leading candidates, Ben Carson, came by the media center, photographers and reporters -- most of whom are kept as far from the presidential contenders as possible -- swamped him. I don’t know if any actual journalism was committed, but it was quite a scene.
