Golf: Oak Park is hosting top tournament on Monday

The Oak Park Invitational on Monday at North Ranch Country Club is shaping up as a terrific early season golf competition.
Division I signees Victor Ponte of Rio Mesa (UCLA), Sean Crocker of Westlake (USC), Peter Griffith of Oaks Christian (Northwestern), along with Collin Morikawa of La Canada, the 30th ranked junior in the United States and 2013 winner of the Western Junior Amateur, make up the featured group.
The only female in the field is Lydia Choi of Beverly Hills, the 41st ranked junior girl in the nation who will play for UCLA next year.
The field includes 100 high school golfers representing 25 schools throughout Southern California.
The event begins with a shotgun start at 12:30.
