Boys’ basketball: War on the Floor tournament begins Wednesday

The 20th War on the Floor summer basketball tournament begins Wednesday at St. Genevieve and Heritage Christian, with more than 40 schools scheduled to participate. The finals are Sunday at St. Genevieve.
Wednesday’s schedule at St. Genevieve: Westalke vs. Cleveland Red, noon; Chaminade vs. Santa Clara, 1 p.m.; Santa Clara vs. Cleveland Red, 2 p.m.; Chatsworth vs. San Fernando, 3 p.m.; Calabasas vs. Trinity, 4 p.m.; Royal vs. Malibu, 5 p.m.; St. Genevieve vs. Verdugo Hills, 6 p.m.; Mailibu vs. Verdugo Hills, 7 p.m.
Wednesday’s schedule at Heritage Christian: Dorsey vs. North Hollywood, noon; Dorsey vs. Huntington Park, 1 p.m.; Cleveland vs. Newbury Park, 2j p.m.; Hart vs. Monrovia, 3 p.m.; Monrovia vs. Newbury Park, 4 p.m.; Beverly Hills vs. Bell-Jeff, 5 p.m.; Campbell Hall vs. Crescenta Valley, 6 p.m.; Campbell Hall vs. Bell-Jeff, 7 p.m.
There will be games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Crespi and St. Genevieve.
