Update: Chivas USA’s rugged early-season schedule continues Sunday night when it plays host to the Eastern Conference’s only undefeated, untied team in Sporting Kansas City, which entered the weekend leading MLS with six goals in three games. Chivas, coming off its first win of the season last weekend in Salt Lake, will be buoyed by the likely return of forward Alejandro Moreno, who hasn’t played this season because of a twice-broken nose. Still unlikely to play, however, are midfielder Michael Lahoud (right hamstring) and creative striker Juan Pablo Angel, who is expected to sit out his third consecutive game because of post-concussion symptoms.
