USC football: Another recruit reportedly decommits

With national signing day two weeks away, USC’s 2013 recruiting class remains in flux as Jason Hatcher, a defensive lineman from Kentucky, reportedly reopened his recruitment.
Hatcher visited USC last weekend. On Tuesday, his Twitter feed featured the post “I official decommitted from USC #WideOpen”
Hatcher would be the sixth player who orally committed to the Trojans to reopen his recruitment, following safety Max Redfield, receiver Eldridge Massington, defensive lineman Eddie Vanderdoes, defensive back/receiver Sebastian LaRue and defensive lineman Kylie Fitts.
Quarterback Max Browne, running back Justin Davis and defensive backs Su’a Cravens, Chris Hawkins and Leon McQuay III are attending classes at USC and will participate in spring practice. They are part of a commitment list that totals 13 without Hatcher.
A start date for spring practice has not been set, but USC announced that the spring scrimmage would be held April 13 at 1 p.m. at the Coliseum.
USC’s Pro Day workout will be March 27 on campus.
