If you read Ralph Vartabedian’s article on hiking in Armenia that ran in the Travel section in the fall and remains online, you may have wondered how you could get there more economically. Airfare at that time was more than $1,110. But now, Lot Polish Airlines has a deal.

Fare: From LAX, $560 round trip, including all taxes and fees, to Yerevan, Armenia, on Lot Polish Airlines.
