AmEx card sync up gives $50 credit on Travelocity hotel booking
- Share via
American Express cardholders can save $50 on a Travelocity hotel reservation of $250 or more by syncing their credit cards on Facebook or Twitter. The discount goes straight to your credit card -- if you book by Wednesday.
The deal: This is one of those social media offers that requires you to sync your card -- that is, share access to your Twitter and Facebook timelines and followers -- with American Express. If you’re comfortable with that, the credit is a no-brainer.
[For the record, 3 p.m. Oct. 29: An earlier version of this post incorrectly said the offer’s deadline was Oct. 31. It is Dec. 31.]
Reserve a hotel room on Travelocity that costs $250 or more and sync your credit card with either social media to receive the credit. After syncing, tweet with the hashtag “#AmexTravelocity” to load the credit to your card; on Facebook, load the deal directly.
Date: The Travelocity hotel reservation must be made by Dec. 31 to receive the $50 credit.
Details: Once you go through the process, you should receive an automatic credit on your American Express statement. Look for other offers on the Amex Sync site too.
