Melissa Etheridge shares the stories behind her songs in Las Vegas this summer

Reporting from Las Vegas — Singer Melissa Etheridge will be coming to your window when she performs songs from her new album, “This is M.E.,” as well as some of her greatest hits when she appears at the Pearl at the Palms on Friday, Aug. 7.
Grammy and Academy Award winner Etheridge is known for her iconic voice, profound lyrics and riveting stage presence. During the concert, she plans to share personal stories about her life and the inspiration behind some of her most beloved songs.
Her most iconic hits include “Come to My Window,” “I’m The Only One” and “I Want To Come Over.”
Her 12th studio album, “This is M.E.,” came out last July with the frisky, “Take My Number,” released as the first single. Other songs such as “A Little Hard Hearted” and “Do It Again” feature sing-along pop hooks. “Who Are You Waiting For” closes the album with the song she wrote for and debuted at her wedding earlier this year to Linda Wallem. The album cover features photos submitted by fans.
Tickets start at $49 and go on sale on Friday, April 17, at noon.
